Now, while the idea of Mila Kunis operating an MP5 is only slightly less ridiculous than Tyra Banks as genius archaeologist Aline Cedrac, the teaser trailer for this movie (in which Kunis is notably absent) makes it look interesting, maybe even a little trippy with its presumably Valkyr-induced demons.
For some reason, director John Moore (Flight of the Phoenix and The Omen remakes) was surprised when his movie -- based on an M-rated game, now -- earned an R rating. He bitches about avoiding language to earn a PG-13 rating, not seeming to realize that the games themselves didn't have much in the way of foul language. Personally, I think an R rating for violence with toned-down language is much more true to the spirit of the games.
